By accessing or using PageWatch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PageWatch is a website monitoring service that tracks changes to web pages and notifies users via email, Discord, or Slack. We offer both free and premium subscription plans with varying features and limits.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Create an account using Google OAuth
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Be responsible for maintaining the security of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Monitor websites in a way that violates their terms of service
- Attempt to overload or disrupt our servers
- Access or attempt to access accounts that do not belong to you
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
- Use the Service to scrape, copy, or republish content from monitored sites
5. Subscription and Payments
Free Plan: Limited features with no payment required.
Premium Plan: Paid subscription with enhanced features. Payments are processed through LemonSqueezy. By subscribing:
- You authorize recurring charges according to your billing cycle
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime, delays, or missed notifications due to technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by PageWatch and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as monitor configurations).
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAGEWATCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
